We highly recommend launching with a waitlist. Here's why.
Launching with a waitlist in place is the default when you build a subscription plan on Subkit. You'll see this toggle on your subscription plan page. It will be automatically turned "on." (You can always toggle it off, if you decide that launching with a waitlist is not the right move for you.)
Any plan launched with a waitlist will appear on your profile page with a "Join Waitlist" button. (Instead of a "Subscribe" button - you can see both in the example, below.)
Once an interested potential subscriber hits "Join Waitlist" - they'll be given a very brief survey on the features you're offering as part of your plan, and what price they might be willing to pay for those features. Here are some sample questions:
The entire survey will only take somebody a few minutes to fill out. When they're done, they hit "Submit!" and that's it.
Afterward, you'll be able to view and analyze responses from potential subscribers in your dashboard. You can find them at Subscription Plans > View Plan Details.
Note: you may need to scroll a bit down the Plan Details page, before you see where the survey results are stored.
